There are lots of attractions, tours and activities for Beatles fans in Liverpool. The Magical Mystery Tour

The Magical Mystery Tour is a must for anyone who enjoys music - and it's the perfect introduction to city of the Beatles.


This 2 hour tour visits many of the places associated with John, Paul, George and Ringo as they grew up, met and formed the band that would take the pop world by storm. It stops to let you take a closer look at some of their childhood homes and places that inspired their most memorable songs like Penny Lane and Strawberry Field. Make sure you bring your camera to record the places you'll want to remember on this magical tour.


The Cavern Club

The Cavern is the most famous club in the world!

With this statement in mind it would be very easy for the club to sit back and live off the memories of times gone by. This is definitely not the case as the club is as vibrant and relevant to the latest generation of musicians as in any time in its history.


Mendips

This is the childhood home of John Lennon, faithfully restored and managed by the National Trust. Visitors ain a unique insight into Lennon's life as a boy through photographs, documents and other memorabilia.

20 Forthlin Road

This is the terraced childhood home of Paul McCartney and his brother, Michael. The property is managed by the National Trust who have authentically furnished the house in the style of the 1950's and early 60's.

Casbah Coffee Club

The Casbah Coffee Club is considered the true launchpad of the Beatles, the greatest pop phenomenon of the twentieth century. For the first time in 40 years, you can visit the unique basement club as it was in the beginning.

Tours are available 11am - 5pm on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Easter and August Bank Holiday. Tours are by pre-arranged bookings only. The tour (1 hour approx), should be booked well in advance of the required date(s) to avoid disappointment.


National Museums Liverpool

National Museums Liverpool is England's only national museums group based entirely outside London. There are a number of Beatles exhibits across their venues including Now these days are gone and The beat goes on.


Beatles Pub Crawl

Liverpool is full of fantastic pubs and venues many of which have some interesting historical links with the Beatles. From the world famous Cavern to little known gems like Ye Cracke this site details some of the places where the Beatles drank, played and even helped paint!


The Hard Days Night Hotel

Located in the 'Beatles Quarter' of the city, adjacent to the world famous Cavern Club, the Hard Days Night Hotel is set to open in Feb 2008.
